This site contains a collection of soundtracks and scores whose tracks are organized chronologically.  My hope is that readers will contribute their own lists in the comments section of this post. Please put corrections in the comments of their associated posts.

I am not accepting requests since I only do this as a hobby. Please do not ask where to find varying releases listed. I will not respond to those requests.

Hi!
I just stumbled onto your site just as I was working on my own analysis for Elfman's Alice in Wonderland! I KNEW there had to be a site like this somewhere - great job, it'll be a handy reference. My own blog (http://cuebycue.blogspot.com/) does something similar, but giving out descriptions of scenes with the cues. I just started a couple months ago, but it's been lots of fun trying to take these things apart and figuring out what was used or unused. Anyways, keep up the good work, I've got this bookmarked, and will soon be adding a link list to my blog which will definitely include this blog.

Hello! I wanted to first say that I appreciate all the work you do here. It's been very useful to me on more than one occasion.

I did want to add a few updates to the 'Lara Croft: Tomb Raider' film soundtrack (2001), using your chronological list you posted, but with my additions/corrections with asterisks after them:

C7 - Inhaler - Craig Armstrong (4:59)
S14/B13A - The Planetary Alignment (5:08)

S15/B13B - Lara Defeats Powell (3:38)

Here are some "corrections" for The Ten Commandments
"D4T2 - In The Bulrushes (3:23)"

This OST track has an alternate of D1T3 using bass flute.

"D2T26 - Death Gongs (:28)"

Strangely, in the film, it seems only one of the gongs can be heard in the scene indicated by the placement on the CD, but after D2T31 we hear all three gongs.

"D3T26 - The Royal Barge (Short Source Alternate) (:16)"

In the film this goes right after D1T18

"D3T27 - Tiple (Wild) (:31)"

In the film this is overlay-ed onto D1T19

"D3T19 - Exodus – Part 3 (Short Version) (1:37)"

This is actually the film version, the version in the main program is an alternate (slower) take

Some of the Disc 3 alternates are out of sequence, here they are in the proper sequencing:

D3T24 - Exodus (Early Version) (3:12)
D3T19 - Exodus – Part 3 (Short Version) (1:37)
D3T20 - Shofars & Fanfares (Alternates) (:56)
D3T22 - The Red Sea – Part 3 / Song Of Joseph (Film Edit) (2:00)
D3T23 - The Red Sea – Part 4 (Early Version) (1:34)
D3T30 - The Finger Of God – Part 1 (Early Version) (:37)
D3T25 - The Lord’s Side (Brass) (:15)
D3T21 - Exit Music – Part 2 (Alternate) (1:45)

Since the film version is just a shortened recording, I would place D3T17 - Defending The Well (Alternate – Long) (2:17) in the main program instead.

Okay, so I believe this is the film order for Into the Spider-Verse (which is an incredible cinematic achievement that all of y'all should definitely go see). The score album (I THINK!) is already in order, so I'll just skip over swathes of it for the sake of space and leave ellipses on the places where I skipped. Hopefully someone else will figure out the order for the additional songs that aren't on the three official albums.

Into the Spider-Verse (Score)
Only One Spider-Man (Score)
Sunflower (Post Malone & Swae Lee)
Familia (feat. Bantu) [Nicki Minaj & Anuel AA]
Invincible (Amine)
Save the Day (feat. Coi Leray & lougotcash) [Ski Mask the Slump God & Jacquees]
Memories (Thutmose)
Visions Brooklyn 1, 2, 3 (Score)
...
Mi Amor (Score)
Scared of the Dark (feat. XXXTENTACION) [Lil Wayne & Ty Dolla $ign]
Spider Training (Score)
...
Aunt May and the Spider-Shed (Score)
Hide (feat. Seezyn) [Juice WRLD]
The Prowler (Score)
...
On Your Way (Score)
Start a Riot (DUCKWRTH & Shaboozey)
The Team Leaves (Score)
This Spark in You (Score)
What's Up Danger (Blackway & Black Caviar)
Spider-Team Mission (Score)
...
Spider-Man Loves You (Score)
Elevate (feat. Denzel Curry, YBN Cordae, SwaVay & Trevor Rich) [DJ Khalil]
Way Up (Jaden Smith)
Home (Vince Staples)
Spidey-Bells (A Hero's Lament) (Chris Pine)

"Let Go" by Beau Young Prince and the rest of the songs on the "A Very Spidey Christmas" EP are unused. "Spidey-Bells" is also briefly used earlier in the film somewhere inbetween the cue "Security Guard," and "Sunflower" is briefly played again right after "Spider-Man Loves You."

Again, this list is in the intended chronological order of season 1 as confirmed by Ian Jones-Quartey; because of Cartoon Network's scheduling BS, some episodes intended for season 1 were broadcast as part of season 2, and vice versa. I've been working on the chronological order of the entire series, and I will come back to you with the season 2 list when the score album comes out, which should be later this month!

I've decided that instead of giving you my last two lists for the last two seasons of Steven Universe individually, I'll do what I maybe should've decided on from the beginning and give you a link to my Google Doc for the entire series when it's all done. The final score album - for the fifth and final season - drops September 25, so expect that Google Doc to go public at the end of the month or beginning of October. After that, there will be a soundtrack release some time in October for the limited epilogue series Steven Universe Future; no details so far about any score - would be a shame if only the songs got released - but I'll be on the lookout.

(Oh, and if you're wondering about the chronological order for Steven Universe: The Movie, the soundtrack album already has it in order, so no worries there!)

Thanks jjstar. I'm a bit backlogged with new posts and have taken things slower recently.

I would definitely appreciate the link to the spreadsheet. If you want to post your email address, we can communicate that way which might be easier.

Since comments are moderated, I won't post it but just email you directly.

Thanks for the info. Usually what takes the most time is formatting lists to post. Especially with the new updates Blogger has put in place.

Either way, I wanted to say thanks and I'll work on what you've sent so far.

Is there any chance of getting the correct track order for 1967's "Casino Royale"?

Steven Universe Future: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1eYWzuCRNXsRlKXlbwRZGcbRWlOrJNGkbzHogPBZL5Zo/edit?usp=sharing

I'll admit that I don't know if there are more reused songs from the original series that I'm missing on this list; "Sadie Killer and the Suspects" and "Dear Old Dad" are the only ones I remember.

Chrono Score Guy said...

jjstar, with the Steven Universe you mentioned you linked to various SoundCloud pages and composer sites for the unreleased music. In the list you sent, there were no direct links to which unused tracks were on which composer pages. Due to the time it would take me to go through and find everything, I didn't include them on the posts scheduled for March. If you would be willing update the list with which tracks go to which pages, I will gladly add them.

jjstarA113 said...

"Who composed what" was something I ignored when making the SU list since it seemed like too much work :P, but now that you mention it, perhaps I should take the time to update the doc with composer info for both released and unreleased tracks.

Nathan Romberg said...

The Little Things (Thomas Newman, 2021) - 16, 3, 9, 2, 7, 11, 10, 13, 4, 15, 17, 14, 12, 1, 5, 8, 6, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25

This has got to be among one of Newman's most disorganized OSTs - it took some comparing to the FYC and a rewatch of certain scenes just to make sure I had it right! Good score, BTW... fits the film like a glove.

1) The commercially-unreleased SU score tracks are all by aivi & surasshu, exceptions being "The Pitch Got Delayed," "Greg on the Beach," and "No Home Boys," which were composed and performed by Jeff Liu; "Rose's Theme Acoustic" was composed by Rebecca Sugar and performed by Jeff Liu.

2) Do you require composer information for all the unreleased songs as well as the score cues? I notice you typically only post the "performer/singer" information for songs.

3) The very brief "Crying Breakfast Friends! Theme Song" from the season 4 short "Steven Reacts" is sort of an unknown, since the short doesn't have any music credits. I think it was sung by Deedee Magno Hall (the short also has Zach Callison as Steven singing over the track), but with no official credits I decided to leave the performer information blank.

4) There's a karaoke album with instrumentals of 11 songs throughout the series. I assume you'd want to include these as "bonus tracks" for their respective episodes? https://www.amazon.com/Steven-Universe-Karaoke/dp/B087Z7YCH9

5) "Pearl Remix" is an extended version of "Pearl's Theme" that aivi & surasshu composed a few years later. It's not part of the show, so it's not on the list I made. However, I guess you can include it as a "bonus track" for EP1: "Gem Glow."

Chrono Score Guy said...

When there is a singer for the song, I don't worry about who composed it. When a singer's name is not clear, I leave it as the composer.

Thanks for the other info.

Hey! I've been utilizing this site for years. It's a wonderful resource. I do have a question though. When you edit and combine tracks from promos and other sources with the main commercially released soundtrack, how do you deal with volume or mixing differences?

In some combinations there are portions of promo tracks sandwiched in between louder commercially released tracks. Is there a standard method you use to overcome these differences? Thanks in advance!

Chrono Score Guy said...

I just raise or lower the volume until it flows, sometimes with a slight crossfade. Based on the sound differences a few other adjustments may need to happen but it varies significantly.
