There is a version of "Now I'm Following You" sung by a guy in the movie (on the radio), but not sure who it is or who sings it. Also, during the "Sooner Or Later" (where Dick Tracy starts busting all the bad guys), there is orchestration playing while Madonna is singing, but it I don't know where this is from or if it is available.

Love the site - very helpful.
Just one point - there seems to be a track missing from the main list - I1T2 (After the "Kid").
I see you have it listed under the "Score Only" list, but do you have any suggestions about the track's placement in the main list?
Thank you.

I added a note to clarify that tracks 1-16 are identical on the original score release and disc 1 of the Intrada release. The track you referenced (I1T2) is the same as S2 which is already represented in the list.

Thank you for the clarification. I was a bit confused because you had "S2' paired with "I1T22 - And They’re Off", which is a different track on the same disc, but listening to the two they seem to be near identical.

You're welcome. The only real difference is the attempted 'original album mix' versus the newly remastered mix from Intrada. Otherwise, they are identical.

As the first poster mentioned, there is orchestration included 2nd time "Sooner or Later" is performed. Is that orchestration cue (even if without "Sooner or Later" playing with it) on the newest Intrada release?

In relistening to that part of the film, I always considered in an alternate orchestral version of Sooner or Later. Unfortunately I couldn't find any similar tracks from the Intrada release.

Thank you for the response and checking. That is unfortunate!

Also, thanks so much for this site. Glad to know others are just as obsessive about having their soundtracks complete and in the correct order. I use your site help me with my Disney soundtracks (both before and after the Legacy collection releases).

You're very welcome and thanks for the feedback. I've got to say, this is a fun hobby. If you have any requests, let me know.

Fantastic work ! But there's still one thing I don't get.
I1T26/S5B - Lips Gets A Bath (:00-:35) [Rename to "Escape”]
But the second part of the I1T26 (:35-52) is glued to the first part (it's hard to edit) and is nowhere to be found elsewhere in your tracklisting. Why didn't you include those precious seconds ?

Chrono Score Guy said...

I took a second look. I1T26 - :35-End is completely unused in the final film and I neglected to add it elsewhere. In my personal edit, I did not edit it out. I revised the tracklist above to include it and just marked it as partially unused. Thanks for bringing it up.

You're welcome, it's the only incoherence I could find in an otherwise perfect work. I can now make my own chronological album. Thanks to you !

Thanks a ton for this. I've been watching the movie frame by frame trying to figure stuff out and it's super hard considering how some of the soundtrack songs are mixed really low...
i forgot about your blog somehow and it just saved me a big headache.
I'm having a hell of a time finding the opera track Die Schlumpf though.
